Am 16. April 2021 ist es wieder so weit. Ein neuer M.A.D. Cast (Modern Application Deployment) für die Packaging Community. Wir veranstalten dieses Event gemeinsam mit Microsoft Deutschland. Es ist der erste M.A.D. Cast International. Zum ersten Mal komplett in englischer Sprache. Sebastian Gernert erzählt uns etwas über Troubleshooting mit #AppV und Tim Mangan ist da, um uns etwas über die aktuelle MSIX-Kompatibilität zu erzählen. 2019 haben wir zuletzt den M.A.D. "Day" als Nachfolger des App-V Day in Hamburg veranstaltet. Das ist in diesem Jahr leider nicht mehr möglich. Daher haben wir uns den M.A.D. Cast als wiederholte, virtuelle Veranstaltung ausgedacht.

On April 16, 2021 It's that time again. A new M.A.D. Cast (Modern Application Deployment) for the packaging community. We are hosting this event together with Microsoft Germany . It is the first M.A.D. Cast International. For the first time completely in english. Sebastian Gernert tells us something about troubleshooting with #AppV and Tim Mangan is there to tell us something about the current MSIX compatibility. In 2019, we last hosted M.A.D. "Day" as a successor to App-V Day in Hamburg. Unfortunately, that is currently not possible this year. Therefore, we have come up with the M.A.D Cast as a repeated, virtual event.
The M.A.D. Cast is a free event and the name says it all. This event is all about Modern Application Deployment. In other words, the methods by which virtual applications can be deployed on a PC or terminal server without a conventional installation.

- 16:15 Tim Mangan (MSIX Session): "App Compatibility with MSIX" - an up-to-date status on application compatibility and the lessons learned in getting packages to work with MSIX including the Package Support Framework and new options for packaging.
- 17:00 Break session: Small App-V and MSIX tips and a raffle for M.A.D. Cast T-shirts
- 17:15 Ingmar Oosterhoff (MSIX and App-V): "about App-V 2 MSIX Conversion"
- 18:00 Break Session: Small App-V and MSIX tips
- 18:15 Sebastian Gernert (App-V Session): "The Mystery of an ghost Connection Group" - if something strange in the Neighborhood – who do you call? In this Session, you do not need to call someone – we show techniques and share knowledge to resolve this mysterious case and make enable you to be the person who get called… when the next mystery comes.

- 19:05 Session: "Feeding the Birds" - in this session is a Roundtable to ask our Experts, on any open points from the sessions or anything else. But we are also interested to get your views on the upcoming Tech and direction this Technology is going.
